Cara Baker
Thiel sophomore infielder/designated player Cara Baker, a Corry graduate, was rewarded for her run-producing contributions this season by making the all-conference softball team.
Baker, a region all-star at catcher in high school, was named to the all-Presidents’ Athletic Conference second team this week. Baker was one of six Tomcats to make the all-PAC team.
Baker led Thiel in batting average (.397), slugging percentage (.621) and RBIs (19). She also hit two home runs, registered 36 total bases and scored 11 runs.
The Tomcats went 16-16 overall and 9-9 in PAC play.
