St. Bonaventure softball player Kelli Rohan turned in two final standout performances before her redshirt junior season ended Wednesday.

The McDowell graduate went a combined 4-for-7 with four stolen bases in two Atlantic 10 tournament games, but the Bonnies lost both games and were eliminated. St. Bonaventure lost to Fordham 5-1 and La Salle 4-3 in Amherst, Mass., and finished the season at 15-24.  The Bonnies were making their first A-10 tournament appearance since 2009.

Rohan went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases in the opener against Fordham and went 2-for-4 and stole two more bases against La Salle. In the second game, she scored twice, including the tying run after she led off the seventh inning with a single and stole second base. La Salle then won with a two-out home run in the bottom of the seventh.

Rohan, an outfielder/designated player, was named to all-Atlantic 10 first team on Tuesday. She led the Bonnies with a .397 batting average (48-for-121) and a school-record 32 stolen bases. She is the school’s career leader with 65 stolen bases in 72 attempts. Her .397 average also ranks fourth in school history for a single season.

Rohan will graduate this month with a degree in accounting/finance but will return for her redshirt senior season while attending graduate school. She missed her sophomore season with an injury.

Update: Rohan added another honor Thursday when she was named to the Capital One Academic All-District 1 first team with a 3.48 grade-point average. She is now eligible to be selected for the Capital One Academic All-America team.
